I am feeling better but my MAC has caught my illness. I was installing El Capitan and all was going well or so I thought. The machine is now stalled on the screen with an apple and and an unmoving progress bar. I let it go all night, but it was stil the same this morning. I fear I am being mocked. Needless to say, I have no access to my files, and typing on this iPad would drive me into madness. Coffee has been crushed by the machine at least for today.
I am going to do some errands then I will come back and hope to find a solution.

I do hope it has fixed itself by the time You’re back home! My computer starts almost every time by saying there’s a serious problem with the start up menue and I need to log out and log on again so the computer can fix it. The repairs are rather short lived since I need to do this so often 🙂

No such luck! It has developed a new problem which I’m going to have to research. The MAC has peculiarities.

I rebooted so many times hoping for a miracle and I got one but not from the reboot. I swear MAC’s think they are superior to humans. They’re right sometimes.

The Apple site says your computer has to be p0st 2007 and have a minimum of 8 G of RAM.
