it was all changing. It was no longer The Supremes, it was now Diana Ross and The Supremes. Florence Ballard was about to get fired

Still it was a Holland-Dozier-Holland composition recorded in Studio A at Hitsville in Detroit

Fab, super duper psychedelic pick today Kat – love it.

      My Dear Hedley,
I have always been a Supremes fan, but I didn’t know who wrote this or where it was recorded.

I hadn’t heard this song in forever, but I still knew al the words. They were remarkable!

      Thanks!!

i used to turn on to ‘china beach’ just to hear this song…much like i’d catch the opening for ‘goldfinger’…just to hear ms bassey…

Greg – Could I add “The Kids in the Hall’ so I could hear Shadowy Men on a Shadowy Planet ?

      greg,
Wow, I’m with you on both songs and China beach. Ms Bassey blew me away with that song, no title song better than Goldfinger song in that Bassey way.
