A fantastic pick Kat. the version from Live at Leeds is probably my favorite.

Its hard to describe how venomous a Who show was in the mid 70s and the pure aggression was often manifested in Magic Bus as a closer of their shows along with “Won’t Get Fooled Again” . I honestly have no idea how many times I have seem them in their various incarnations, but when it was Keith and John and Pete and Rog and the skies went dark, it was something very special

    • Thank you, My Dear Hedley.

This is among my top five Who songs and Won’t Get Fooled again is on the same list.

“Meet the new im6 same as the old im6”

      • MDH,
This is in reference to what?

      • Hedley Says:

Sorry Kat, I was messing a bit with “Wont get fooled again” which concludes as follows

I’ll tip my hat to the new constitution
Take a bow for the new revolution
Smile and grin at the change all around
Pick up my guitar and play
        Just like yesterday
Then I’ll get on my knees and pray
        We don’t get fooled again
        Don’t get fooled again
        No, no!

        Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!

        Meet the new boss
        Same as the old boss

(Scream is courtesy of Rog right after Keith had finished – the band would leave, no encores and we would go home)

      • Thanks for the explanation, MDH. Poor im6!

      • MDH,
I don’t think I have ever heard this song this length before.

It seems we were all so very young back then.

    Correct change only!

    • im6,
Great comment! I never have change so I’m in big trouble.

This guy makes me laugh even before he opens his mouth. Love his partner’s instrument.

      Everyone needs an accordion!

    • Gnu,
What fun to see snippets of the original film. It has been forever since I last saw it. I love the clothing-brings back memories. Whatever happened to color?
