Spaceman,
I played this a long while back but it is good to hear Lightfoot again. He was a favorite of mine-I’ve even seen him in concert!
Thanks!

Canadian “country” song. Nice melody
February 27, 2015 at 7:00 pm
Spaceman,
I think many of his songs are Canadian country.

Vainly he checked the weather station.
Cheers

R.I.P Spock – live Long and Prosperous
February 27, 2015 at 10:13 pm
Gnu,
This is wonderful. It shows the relationship between Spock and Bones as well as that logic of Spock’s. It is easy to forget Spock’s inability to understand idioms and how humorous were his interpretations.

Haven’t played this in a few months. Including the Duck Dynasty crew is nice touch. I can’t remember who the young Hollywood fellow is.

Spaceman,
I really his voice. This is a great song. I couldn’t tell who the Hollywood guy is even when he finally took off his sunglasses.

I’ll dig around and see who it is. I think I told you before that I briefly met his banjo player in Nashville (at a kids birthday party). He’s Russian.

Spaceman,
You did tell me about the banjo player, but I don’t think you told me he was Russian.

It’s Charles Kelly from Lady Antebellum. But this might surprise you.

Spaceman,
That is a totally unknown Dylan to me. I didn’t even recognize his voice.
February 28, 2015 at 6:37 pm
Internet says Dylan sketched out the song a long time ago. Upped in popularity by Old Crowe Medicine Show. Rucker made it into a smash.

Spaceman,
I like Old Crowe Medicine Show, and you have me really liking Rucker now.
