minicapt,
I love this. Now I have to say Kansas is flatter than a pancake, considerably flatter!!.

I like pancakes

Bubba,
I haven’t ever liked pancakes. The inside seems gross to me.

One blessing of Fall is that the Gardinias are in bloom. Neighbor lady clipped off a few for a small bouquet. And pansies will bloom pretty much the whole winter here, so I put out a couple dozen along the edge of the garden. A little flower color in the winter is cheering. And a big bonus day! With the leaves coming down, I spotted a persimmon tree loaded with fruit. Will go back later and bring a bagful home. Got 3 giant boxes of walnuts to dehusk too

Spaceman,
My flowers are all brown. I will buy some winter pansies though they don’t last all that long, but I don’t care. I just want the color. I buy small bouquets during the winter just for the color. At Christmas I have all sorts of flowers.
I haven’t ever seen a persimmon tree.

Bubba,
I fall downstairs and upstairs. I wouldn’t even try a bar stool.

Native persimmons will grow pretty far north but not quite as far as you are

Spaceman,
That explains it. I haven’t ever eaten one and had to find out what they look like.

When were kids, would bite into green persimmons for a lark. They will flat out pucker up your lips. Funny

Spaceman,
I did the same with green apples. They too puckered your lips.
