I can no longer hear this song without thinking of Big Daddy’s reworking of Springsteen’s “Dancing In The Dark.” Big Daddy does this sort of thing better than anyone.
Big Daddy’s specialty is taking old 50s and 60s songs and replacing the words with those of more contemporary songs. They’re usually very well done not to mention a bit disconcerting.
