Thanks for posting this. I also love Louis and His Hot Fives and Sevens. When you think it was recorded in 1927 . . . amazingly good sound quality, too!

When I was younger, I found and really liked Louis’ music. I said I hated jazz. Keep in mind, I was young. It was later I found out what jazz really is and how wonderful the sound. That was because of Louis

I thought the same thing about the sound. Usually music that old tends toward scratchy and even a hollow sound.
I am a huge Louis fan by himself or with anybody.
