Sure beats the heck out of the Roger Williams version, doesn’t it? Really enjoy it and certainly shows the influence JLL had on Leon Russell.

      im6,
I have an entire folder of artists singing this song, but I was in a JLL mood. My friend Pete was the one who gave me a look at the music beyond Great Balls of Fire or I probably would have passed on this one. It is a great song!!

I’m surprised at how many versions of this song I have, but they’re not all grouped together! This is one of the beauties in my files:

I mean how many versions of Autumn Leaves I have, not this Van song. It just showed up when I did a search of my files.

      im6,
This is a great song which I haven’t ever heard of before this.

One day I went through and grouped songs but there weren’t all that many folders when I was done.

Kat and im6, do you also have Iggy in your Autumn Leaves files? He sang it in French. I’m curious whether you like it, – his singing, not his French pronunciation.

        Birgit,
I have Nat King Cole and Yves Montand singing it in French.

I don’t care for the start of this song, but I like it when he finally gets down to singing.
