    Kat,

What a great, swingin’ little number, but . . . POOR little rabbit!

    • Marie,
I know it isn’t the best Easter choice but I so love Cab Calloway and decided on rabbit as my theme today.

Kat, it was the perfect choice! I thought it was very cute – besides, I’m convinced that that rabbit outwitted them anyway. Thanks to the exposure I’ve had to his music on your blog, I’m also becoming a fan of Cab Calloway.

        Marie,
There are so many great Cab Calloway songs. You’ll have great fun getting to know his music.

      Caryn,
I have a whole file of St. James Infirmary songs with all their different titles, but I have to say Cab’s version is among my favorite.

I first heard Cab Calloway’s version many years ago. It was in a Betty Boop cartoon. She was having a nightmare and Cab Calloway was the voice of Koko the Clown. He sang this song.
        Here it is, I think:

    Caryn,
I so loved this cartoon. It is so clever, and that music would have hooked me even then if I were young. Thanks for hunting it done. I haven’t ever seen it before this.
