Kiko is arguably their masterpiece . There is a very nice recent issue of a live CD and DVD of the album. Kiko also contains my all time favorite song “Saint behind the Glass”
As you know I just saw the band in Monroe and if you get the chance they are not to be missed
Great pick Kat, thank you.
They have toured with Los Lonely Boys who feature the incredible Henry Garza. The show takes on all sorts of interaction between the two bands and when Henry joins Los Lobos the whole place burns down.
I saw Los Lobos last year here in Tucson. Another band I saw in Tucson that some of you might want to investigate, is Calexico. Calexico is on a World Tour right now so keep your eyes open!
Scott, Calexico are playing a small room in Detroit in June and we have talked about going. It’s a midweek deal and we think we would all be happier if they were at Meadowbrook or an outside venue.
I think they had done some stuff with Sam Beam which I have and of course get Kat overstimulated as that is Iron and Wine

My Dear Hedley,
That is a concert I would see in a heartbeat! They don’t seem to get out my way though. Boston is not all too many itineraries!

Listen to their latest (Algiers) – it’s really really good.
