Suzy became delirious when she heard that Kevin Ayers of Soft Machine had died.
Only a visit from im6/im8 to explain the significance of Soft Machine could help
February 20, 2013 at 3:44 pm
My Dear Hedley,
Perhaps it was Suzy who in her delirium thought it was im8 to whom she was speaking!
February 20, 2013 at 4:23 pm
OR Suzy was exhausted by a “visit” from im8.
February 20, 2013 at 4:46 pm
MDH,
Now, after the visit, she languishes!
February 20, 2013 at 6:24 pm
Or is knackered….
February 20, 2013 at 6:33 pm
MDH,
That too!
February 20, 2013 at 6:49 pm
Im8 was two “notches” more impressive than im6.

MDH,
Thanks for the laugh-good one!

Enough death notices for today. First Otfried Preussler (German children’s books author), then Kevin Ayers.
Buffy Sainte-Marie is 72 today and alive!
February 20, 2013 at 7:37 pm
Birgit,
Wow, 72. I’m happy for the still alive notice!
February 20, 2013 at 8:11 pm
Hang on, how did we go from the devastating skills of im8 to the dreadful Buggy Saint-Maria? Another artist that benefited from Art Garfunkel syndrome.

MDH,
I am a Buffy fan but a selective Buffy fan. I prefer her early albums. They’re excellent.

Katmah,
I assume very selective like one song ? I dont remember the Buffanator ever being honored with a window on KTCC
February 21, 2013 at 10:49 am
MDH,
I have played her but not for a long while. Today I will play an early Buffanator and you will be pleasantly surprised (like overwhelmed as I know you are not a folk fan of legend).
