Now Kat, I have to assume that without the help of im6 you have posted one of your most subtle musical references ever ever in the history of KTCC . BUT…..I’ve got it because Gnarls Barkley consisted of one Cee Lo Green AND …..wait for it ….DANGER MOUSE ! …Brilliant absolutely brilliant

Both St Elsewhere and The Odd Couple are terrific CDs and my personal favorite has to be Smiley Faces, although Run is also outstanding.

      My Dear Hedley,
It was my idea, all mine, no help at all from anyone, and I admit to a certain amount of pride with this selection!

I knew you might just be the only one to get it! You know so much about music that I hoped and even expected this comment!

It took a moment or two before the light went on and then I got it – I love it when you are perverse.

      • katry Says:

        MDH,
You do yourself proud in perverse as well!!

      • Hedley Says:

Perverse is a lot more interesting than…fill in the space

Now watch Danger Mouse and his friend travel through time including meeting Birgit’s close friend David Bowie, who featured in KTCC over the weekend. You will also see the Mouse and Cee Lo show up with all sorts of im6 worthy types and The Clash….enjoy

        MDH,
That is now on my list of favorite videos. I love the opening and I love Cee Lo’s insertion into the different groups!

I have but a couple of songs from that album. Looks like an iTunes stop for me!

Ok, while you were at it, here is Cee Lo and Danger Mouse meeting one Justin Timberlake. The video originally came with a warning about the strob like effects.

      • katry Says:

        MDH,
The strobe effects deserved a warning. They were a bit much even for me.

Justin always seems like a good sport.

        They do great period pieces!

    Yeah – Danger Mouse!
