It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas

The jarring ring of the alarm woke me this morning. I am going to be stuffing envelopes for this year’s fundraiser at the Museum of Natural History and wanted to make sure I was up early enough for my coffee and newspapers. I will be writing my usual jottings later so please do comeback to visit.

To keep you busy, I am posting the links to im6’s Christmas disks. Every year I look forward to these as my first Christmas presents. The music is wonderful and some of the songs are completely new to me which is another present. im6 said the volume is a bit uneven because the songs come from so many sources. I didn’t even notice. All I heard was Christmas music!!!

Thank you, my friend, for letting me share!!  New links: grab them while they’re hot!

The im6 Electric Fruitcake selections add Tinsel to the Christmas Tree of the KTCC Family.
Im6 is a music maven amongst mavericks.

too late, the MF link doesn’t work anymore.

… at least in my rigorous country. Maybe it’s country-specific, so don’t hesitate to try.

      Thanks, Kat and im6 !
      Let’s start the Coffee&Tinsel party 🙂

Better save your thanks until you hear them, Birgit. 😉 If you like them, however, I have (hopefully still working) links to previous years’ editions. If Kat has your email address, maybe I can get her to forward them to you (unless you’re the Birgit on Facebook from Piedmont, in which case we have another mutual friend, and I’ll friend you.

        CD1-2nd song and I’m already dancing 🙂
I’m not on facebook or similar data-grabbing sites.

        You will not be disappointed!!

  3. Kat Says:

    My Dear Hedley,
Hmmm, let me see. I wonder who will get Gaudete Sunday song and Christmas in New Your. Is it im6? No?I wonder to whom I am pandering?

    • Hedley Says:

Alrighty then, there might be a slight possible chance that you are doing something nice for me that I will like a lot, and everyone in the KTCC Family will enjoy and is clearly part of the Christmas ritual, along with a spunky discussion on tinsel
Now, does that represent pandering or part of the charm of your community ?

  5. Birgit Says:

    After-I-heard-them thanks!
(I also didn’t notice any uneven volume.)
I had to interrupt the tinsel party for TV, I didn’t want to miss Jimi Hendrix at the Isle of Wight 1970. A strange combination.
My favorite is 2-18 and -believe it or not- I even liked the Rod Stewart songs.
Now I’m in Christmas mood 🙂
    And need some reinbeer 😉
    And sleep, it’s 2.25 a.m. over here…

    • Kat Says:

I had company the whole evening so I didn’t het to finish listening to all of them-that gives me Tomorrow as a sloth day with a house filled with Christmas music!

I love 2-18 as well! I was totally taken by the title!
