Bob is at the Fox tonight. A few shows ago I left before the last encore and he did Seger’s “Get outta Denver” I heard it later on a bootleg of his show at the State theatre and I was really mad that I had missed it. My favorite version of the song was by Eddie and the Hots Rods from their live at the Marquee EP which was so hot that it nearly blew up my turntable
I like the new disc “Tempest” but I have to admit that its not getting a ton of play time down the chateau nor in the Lamborghini.
My Dear Hedley,
I went through my I love every Bob song to who is that man singing to that man sounds like Bob only older stages. I am still more or less at the latter stage.
You and my father would have liked each other. He always made us leave the drive-in before the movie was over so he could beat the traffic. I never saw the end of a movie at the drive-in until i was old enough to go myself.

I definitely belong to the school of “beat the traffic” . I have never done it for a movie but I will go before the end of a concert or sporting event unless it is of significance. I see The Pistons a lot as the Palace of Auburn Hills is only 10 minutes from my home, but see little reason to sit to the end of a regular season game.
MDH,
At times I also am a beat the traffic type as when the former Red Sox were ahead quite a bit toward the end of the game.
When I saw the Sox a few years ago in Cleveland, I stayed until the bitter (it was in the 30’s) end. The Sox scored four at the top of the 9th and beat the Tigers. I overheard a guy at the airport tell his friend he lesft early and missed it all!
OK, so I know I am a bit confused but why were the Tigers playing the Red Sox in Cleveland ?
I stayed to the end of each game during the Bengals run in the playoffs. At football/soccer matches I always stay to the end and will not leave my seat during either halves of play.
Ahhh, my Tigers and what a year of excitement it was
I shall be heading down to Ford Field on Sunday, wearing of the #90, to watch my Lions tangle with Green Bay. No Prince this time but I am sure that we will have fun

MDH,
I will sit in the comfort of my home hoping to see the Pats stumble to another win.

2LO Calling.
OK Kat, the BBC is 90 years old and across all stations this Damon Albarn (think Gorillaz and Blur) piece went out

My Dear Hedley,
That was fascinating from the first chimes of Big Ben to the last beep.
Thank you!
