When I was a very young MDH back in October 1972, I saw the Pink Fairies, and the New York Dolls open for Rod and the Faces. So there was David Johansen glamming it up and the crowd was yelling for them to get off.

I just read an article that said they were going for mega-bucks: as high as $5000 each. You are one lucky man! If there was one event I’d want to see-it would be the opening ceremonies. I’ll be watching from here an thinking of you!!

It is completely crazy, two tickets popped up on the official site today at $232.50 each and Mrs MDH and I grabbed them. We are in complete shock that this close to the Games they became available.
I am sure that you will have a much better view on TV but I promise you and im6 that when McCartney has the stadium singing along to “Hey Jude” I will give it my best KTCC effort

I think my view might be better, but it won’t be anywhere as exciting. I’m holding you to that best KTCC effort!!

Wow ! What a great selection

The Dolls were a very bad fit with the boozy lad band that once were Rod and the Faces
So take a wild guess who just grabbed two tickets to the Opening Ceremony of the Olympic Games. 🙂
