    Hedy West’s father, Don West was an interesting man. He co-founded the Highlander Folk School at Monteagle, Tennessee, wrote poetry and organized mineworkers. By the way, if you haven’t heard them, sheck out Alabama Shakes, particularly the song Hold On.
