Of course Kat, this is from the one LC album that is in my collection (quiet im6). Purchased in Germany to impress Nicci but she realized that I was far more interested in Nods As Good as a Wink and the delights of Every Picture Tells a Story. Fake sensitivity says she…Rod rules says I…it didnt work but we are still friends
Like most of Lennie’s stuff, I could never quite get it, probably something to do with being British. Does this song mean that he whacked a Nun ? Was Lennie p***ed that his Agent said he was rubbish in bed ? Why Rebecca DeMornay ? the star of the best movie ever made….Did Rebecca really co produce a Lennie album ?
Is Lennie the most played Artiste on KTCC or does that belong to Joni ?
I had a nice lunch, I listened to Marvin Gaye in the car but dont like Tamla but still love Marvin, I will try to play the Nun-Love Song all the way through before the game kicks off.
My Dear Hedley,
It is from my favorite Lennie album. He really isn’t played all that often-it just seems that way to you. Joni may be the most played but Judy Collins, Bob Dylan and PP&M are right up there.
I just listen, trying to get some songs is far too frustrating. Think of the music with those odd lyrics. They made no sense but we liked them anyway.
You don’t have to play the whole nun song-just enjoy the game!
im6,
I can’t explain it all well. The easiest part is how wonderful some of the music he wrote is especially sung by others. When he sings, I always yhink of him as sad rather than gloomy.
Kat
Got a radio commentary on Radio 5 Live. John Terry was sent off for violent conduct (not too violent says the BBC !!) Barca got ahead 2-0 and then Ramirez of Chelsea scored right at half time to make it 2-1 on the right and 2-2 in aggregate
Absolutely incredible stuff. Can hardly wait for the second half
So Torres scores right at the end, going 60 odd yards, its 2-2, Chelsea ahead 3-2 and WIN….bye bye Barca and Chelsea move on to the Final.
Well done Chelsea and Torres
My Dear Hedley,
I listen on the radio to baseball, but I am not a fan of ears instead of eyes. I miss too much. It sounds as if you got all the excitement just from your writing.

That’s one more LC album than I have. He’s a tad gloomy for my tastes.

Hedley,
I love that it wasn’t too violent-just run of the mill violent!

Well done indeed!
