From the very wonderful “Below the Salt” which was to be followed by the even more wonderful “Parcel of Rogues”

John Barleycorn could be interpreted as a drinking song which I will need before playing Sisters of Mercy.

I hope that Crister has accumulated a few “Crocodile” beers ready for a couple of fantastic nights of football as Chelsea travel to Barcelona tonight and Real Madrid play Bayern Munich tomorrow in the second leg of the Champions League Semi Finals. Dont think that I can sneak out but I will be tracking the game tonight on bbc.co.uk and wishing well to Fat Frank and the boys

Thanks for the balance Kat, and I would comment that the only real Steeleye Span demand that i make is to ask for the lovely Maddy Prior and her friends to appear on Gaudete Sunday…and I am never disappointed

      My Dear Hedley,
You are welcome for the balance. I figured it was the least I could do!

Of course, I always remember Gaudete Sunday!

This is one of my favorite LC songs. I do like this album. It brings me back to my senior year in college and an apartment off campus where I played this until it got groovy, literally!

    Just great, that’s all . . .
