Morocco: Judy Collins (Featuring Ollabelle)
You know Judy Collins is one of my all time favorite singers. This song is from her new album Bohemian, an album which is so beautiful it almost defies description. It is my Judy in all her glory. It is as good an album as any of hers. Her voice is still so lovely it brings joy for the music in our lives.

I was first turned on to Judy in 1964. Peg and I saw her at UNH in 1968, and again in Nashua around 1990. Her voice and music have not changed as dramatically as Joni’s (too many cigarettes) ; other favorite female singers of ours (in no particular order) Baez, Sandy Denny, Eva Cassidy, Loreena McKennitt, Maura McConnell, Sarah Brightman, Nancy Wilson, ….the list goes on.
KTCC always has an eclectic mix of music.

Bill,
I first heard Judy when I was in the 9th grade and was hooked. It was around the first time I heard PP&M. I saw Judy in 1997 when Wildflowers had just come out and then I last saw her about 4 or 5 years or so ago in Boston just after her album Judy Collins Sings Lennon and McCarthy had come out.
Joni Mitchell is my all time favorite but I also like Joan Baez, Eva Cassidy and, like yours, my list goes on.

This is one that I have never heard Judy Collins sing before and it’s great. She is one of the great voices of our times.

It is from her newly released album called Bohemian. I love the entire album and have played it three times since I got it.
