Come Wind, Come Rain: Vashti Bunyan
The album from which this song comes, Just Another Diamond Day, was released in 1970. It didn’t do well so Vashti stopped recording. Slowly it began to have a following and was re-released in 2000. I love this album

A super interesting pick today Kat. Vashti was definitely a child of the 60s and probably best known for her version of Jagger & Richards “Some things just stick in your mind” ….my favorite of her very limited work and the title of a compilation in 2007.
She does record and appear in very small fragments. I guess at one point she wandered off to some commune run by your boy Donovan.

My Dear Hedley,
I was roaming through my files and realized I hadn’t played her in years and thought it time.
I looked her up as I remembered only the drugs and a few flings with the Stones. I am amazed at her bio and even more amazed she lived through it all.
