As a pre-teen I was most fond of my Dad’s Tennessee Ernie Ford LPs (and much more than his Doris Day collection of 78s). On Sunday afternoons, I would play TEF’s albums of hymns. That’s a nice memory; thank you!

I didn’t hear this one until, I was older, the same with Rock Around the Clock. When these came out, we were 8. I wasn’t into the radio and records at that age,

I don’t think I heard this song until I was older as my mother wasn’t a fan of Tennessee Ernie’s. I, however, liked this song.
I’m always happy when songs bring back memories. They are so special when they do.

Rock Around the Clock I remember. Maybe next time play songs when the person has turned 15.
