Yesterday was Joan Baez’s birthday, and I missed it. Thanks, Fred, for the reminder! She turned 71.

I had posted Forever Young in honor of her birthday. I don’t think there is a song she sings that I don’t like.

Beautiful song! It seems that Joan always adds a little something special to Dylan songs.

Larry,
I’m thinking it’s because they had a special relationship from the beginning.

My “special wish” before I depart this world for my reward, or punishment…if they’re keeping detailed records, is that Eric Clapton would do an album of Dylan songs. Clapton’s version of “Born In Time” is spectacular. By the way, if they’ve had a special relationship I don’t want to know about it!

Larry,
Nope, I don’t believe Eric and Bob had a special relationship. I don’t know the song you’ve mentioned, but I’ll go huntintg! Thanks!!

J,
Welcome back!
I’m listening now!!! What a different interpretation! It is just as good but oh so different than Joan.
