When I was a kid I always like George Reeves better as Clark Kent than as Superman. As Clark kent he reminded me of my father, who was big and strong and also wore glasses. Reeves played Kent with a sly understanding: He knew he was Superman, he knew he was in control of the situation, so he could afford to be laid back and confident as Kent. I guess that’s what I saw in my dad, too.

buzz,
You are so right about Clark. He always had that knowing grin whenever Superman was the topic of discussion. He was a handsome guy!
