I love Joan. I have so many memories of seeing her. One was when Harvey Milk was shot. A huge crowd of people marched to city hall with candles, and she met us there and sang Amazing Grace, which calmed everyone down.
Her ability to write and sing personal songs, as well as political songs is amazing. I’m not sure if I had heard this song before.
Waving at you Kat,
Lori

Lori,
I too love Joan and regret never having seen her in concert.
This song was written by her sister Mimi.
