Basking on the Beach
No, I’m at not at the beach nor am I outside basking in anything. I’m still here in the midst of a really bad cold spell, but I thought the title catchy.
Before my infamous surgery and its aftermath, Wednesday was my day of rest. I didn’t go back to a day of rest when I got better because of the joy I got out of being able to write again, but I’m back to it now. Coffee will be on hiatus every Wednesday, until the next surgery that is.
Thanks for dropping by; talk to you tomorrow.

Thanks, Sprite. It was indeed one of those achy nights.

When I retired from work and finally bought myself a PC I immediately decided not to start it up in the weekend. Before, the starting of the PC was equal to the start of a working day and, though I liked my work enough not to hate it, I tried to avoid working weekends.
This thought process was hard to break with, so only in case of pure necessity is my PC working weekends.
Who says PC’s have no need of some time off?

Bert,
Most times I use my PC in the morning then skip the afternoon then go on at night when TV is totally uninteresting. I surf a lot which is fun for me.

No beach basking here. It’s a twoper day here in Northern Illinois.
Twoper of socks, twoper of long underwear, twoper of gloves.
It’s -16º at 8am !

John,
Not really here either-it is also a twoper day. The high will be 26° and the low 15°. It will stay this way for a few days. I may have to drag out my winter coat.

We’ve gotten up to 5º now. At 1:30.

We never did get that low! Brrrrrr
