I just finished paying off a crown (no dental with USPS Insurance) but am pretty lucky to have a dentist who has an “if it doesn’t bother you, it doesn’t bother me” outlook. The other broken teeth I have are “good enough” and pose no problems as long as I keep ’em brushed.

John,
This one is in the front, and I would have had to start practicing a half grin. I do have dental insurance, but it will pay only about half.

Yeah,
I can empathize. That is where my new crown is. It had broken right before our vacation and I had to go through those three weeks without any work done on it. It was a great advertisement for the Illinois Dental Association. I felt as though everyone I met was staring at my toothless, craggy grin.

Ouch-ouch-ouch & even more ouch! Just went thru the same thing myself — hope you feel better soon!

Thanks, Buzz
After the horrid winter I’ve had, I wish I could catch a break.

Kat,
Did I hear you wish you could catch a break! Be careful what you wish for! I have had dental work done, and even with my insurance it is expensive, as the insurance company doesn’t get it that mercury fillings are dangerous. I won’t go into what has to be done next with my teeth or should I say gums, it’s too confusing. Half grins can be “interesting”!

Lori,
Not a break as in look at that bone but a break as in put your feet up, relax and have a pina colada.
No filling-a cap.
