As a lifelong knitter I have to say that I love this photo. That knitting bag is back in style though it’s rather expensive so I probably wouldn’t bring it to the beach. Acrylic yarn in a plastic grocery bag would be the way to do it.

I didn’t even notice the bag, had to enlarge the picture to see it.
I really liked the picture too, and I don’t knit. It was just such a neat mother thing to be doing on the beach.
