March 30, 2010 at 5:07 pm
Christer,
So am I. Next I have to start personalizing this.
March 30, 2010 at 5:08 pm
Sorry to hear of that. Hope you had today’s text backed up in your local puter.
March 30, 2010 at 5:17 pm
Rick,
Today’s was the only one I don’t have backed up. I didn’t have time.
March 30, 2010 at 7:55 pm
Kat – I’ll follow you anywhere!
March 30, 2010 at 9:34 pm
Thanks, Mark!!
March 30, 2010 at 9:32 pm
Geez Sweetcakes,
WTF???
Point me in the culprit’s direction & I will pay the
bugger a visit.
March 30, 2010 at 9:36 pm
Pete,
I’ve had an upset stomach and headache all day. If I could, I’d point him out to you!!
It sucks big time.
March 30, 2010 at 9:37 pm
This is just plain crazy. YOU being guilty of infringement is beyond ridiculous. Have you heard from others besides you-know-who (PS)? They should know you don’t mess with an overcaffeinated blogger! Good luck and thanks for letting me know.
March 30, 2010 at 9:40 pm
Thanks! I figure free music does have its price. One of the songs noted was an Elton John. I forget the rest. PS wasn’t the culprit this time.
March 30, 2010 at 9:02 pm
Welcome back, and to a new home.May Blogger be sad, very sad!
March 30, 2010 at 9:08 pm
Thanks for finding me. It will take a bit to get used to my new digs, but I’ll be back!!!
March 31, 2010 at 9:50 am
Brand spanking new premises! Soon the odour of fresh coffee will have wafted away the smell of fresh paint! You’ll always be right in the middle of my mall, Kat x
March 31, 2010 at 11:05 am
Thanks, Jim!!
I have to meander my way through this to figure out how to post. I hope to be up and running soon
March 31, 2010 at 10:31 am

March 31, 2010 at 11:04 am

Thanks for the link I’ll keep reading (can’t promise to comment though!)
April 1, 2010 at 10:32 am
It took a couple of days to find you but I’m glad I did. I look forward to your blog every day and was really bummed that it disappeared. Found you by going to song:illinois and blundering through some other pages until there you were! I think did something on Twitter that involved Cottage by the Crane Lake that I don’t understand but no matter. You’re back!
April 1, 2010 at 11:04 am
Scott,
You know I’d take anything by Joni!
April 1, 2010 at 11:04 am
Peewit,
Just dropping by to visit is fine with me.
April 1, 2010 at 11:06 am
caryn,
You were another Coffee regular I worried about and hoped you’d find me. Blogger eliminated me for music infringement. Of all thing, it was an old posting of an Elton John song which put me over the top. Yikes!!
Welcome to the new Coffee!!!!!!!!!
April 1, 2010 at 6:05 pm
It’s not the first time Blogger elimnate someone. Remember Merlin in Rags? He was posting out-of-print old 1960’s vinyls and suddenly, bang : Out! I was angry when I saw you weren’t there anymore. Keep the Coffee Coming is more than two songs a day : it’s a very intelligent place, with beautiful old pictures and pretty good observations. I found you because someone had come to my Incassables blog from here.
April 1, 2010 at 10:15 pm
Mario,
Merlin in Rags was a favorite spot for me to visit. I was shocked when it disappeared. I had received a notice a long while back about infringement but nothing more until two notices the other day-one about complaints of infringement and the second shutting me down. I was blown away and devastated. It took me one day to get right back to it!!
Thank you for the very kind words about Coffee. This has become a community I would hate to see disappear.
Please change links and help spread the word!!
April 2, 2010 at 7:32 pm
I’ve been a secret, silent admirer for years. Just how important the site is to me was made painfully obvious when it disappeared. I was saddened to see the “Out of Business” sign at the old place, and have been trying various Google searches ever since to find the new digs. Finally, this afternoon, I hit pay dirt. It really was a Good Friday for me!
Good luck settling in; I’ll be waiting and lurking!
April 2, 2010 at 7:41 pm
It’s a pleasure to meet you, Fred! Thank you for not giving up on me. I wish I had been able to give notice but Blogger was too quick to erase Coffee. I was devastated but couldn’t wait to get started again. It took me all of one day to get a new one up and running. Thanks for not giving up on me!
I’m happy to have you lurk!!
April 2, 2010 at 7:33 pm
Hi Kat.
Glad I found you again. One of my favorite places to visit for a moment of relaxation.
April 2, 2010 at 7:43 pm
Hi Rowen,
I’m so happy the Coffee family is finding me here at the new place. I hated the thought of losing old friends. Thank you so much for looking!!
April 3, 2010 at 3:56 am
Kat,
I’m very glad you’re back. I couldn’t believe you’d been switched off, as your musical knowledge is of great importance, and not only to me I’m sure…
Thanks.
April 3, 2010 at 9:49 am
Thanks, iero
I was shocked to lose Coffee from Blogger, but I couldn’t let it go. Thanks for finding me!!!!
April 4, 2010 at 2:51 pm
I’ve only just realised that you’ve been shut down. I love reading your stuff. Glad you’ve found a new home
HBF
April 4, 2010 at 3:12 pm
HBF,
It happened in a heartbeat. One second I was writing, and the next second it was gone. I enjoy Coffee too much to let it go so here I am- in my new home and learning to decorate. Thanks for hanging in with me!
April 6, 2010 at 11:46 am
Thanks, HBF
April 6, 2010 at 7:17 pm
Kat,
I’ve been a follower for a couple years, and an occasional commenter as well (usually something relating to Sandy Denny). I check in on a pretty much daily basis, and was really upset to find that you had disappeared a week or so ago–it’s funny, but we do come to take things for granted rather easily, don’t we? I found–in short order–that I not only missed you, but Hedley, Christer, and the rest of your regulars as well. Not to mention those photos!
I’ve always felt a sort of spiritual kinship with you because of your location (I live in New Hampshire, and readily identify with many of your reminisces concerning the Boston area in particular), age (I think you may have me by a year or two, but basically we’re the same age and remember what it was like to grow up in the same part of the country at the same time), and of course your impeccable taste in music.
Also, I love a good cup of coffee.
In any event, I’m awfully glad to have found you again. And if I ever stop writing, I’m going to bookmark the blog immediately.
Best,
OMOT
April 6, 2010 at 8:51 pm
OMOT,
It was the loss of all my Coffee friends I bemoaned the most when the other blog was deleted. I was able to send out some e-mails, but I worried whether any other old friends would find me. It is so wonderful that you are all coming back. This new place feels like home more and more every day.
Thanks for introducing yourself. Something about a New Englander is special!
We do have a spiritual connection with all we share in common.
April 7, 2010 at 1:06 am
Hurray, so glad I’ve found you! I’ve been enjoying your posts for a while now and was very confused to find nothing but cached posts. I’ve missed your thoughts, your music and the conversations in your comments. “God’s in his heaven, all’s right with the world.”
April 7, 2010 at 10:01 am
Joy,
I am just as glad you found me. I was hoping the cache would give people my e-mail address so they could write, and I know some found me through a bit of sleuthing, and I’m so glad you kept trying!
Welcome back!!
April 7, 2010 at 10:07 am
Hey Kat,
Glad to see you are still going!
I greatly enjoy your mix of photos, writing, and music.
Thank you,
Dan
April 7, 2010 at 10:14 am
Thanks, Dan!! I had to move but that didn’t stop me. Coffee is too much a part of my day!! Glad to have you back!!
April 13, 2010 at 10:49 am
Hi Dan,
I’m happy to be back! It only took a day to find a new home for Coffee. So glad you found me again!!
April 12, 2010 at 2:57 pm
Whew! I’m glad I found your new home! Your blog is such a delight!
April 12, 2010 at 6:58 pm
Buzz,
I’m so glad you didn’t give up on Coffee. The move was too sudden. I wish I could have let people know!!
Thanks for the kind words. Welcome back!!
April 12, 2010 at 10:56 pm
I’m so glad you found a place! It took some looking around, but it’s worth it. Thank you for keeping on.
April 13, 2010 at 10:46 am
June,
At first I was so horrified I couldn’t think about starting again, but then I realized I’d miss it every day. The new Coffee is a little different looking but everything else is the same.
I’m happy to know you found us!!
April 13, 2010 at 12:27 am
I’m glad I found your blog again! I read it daily (and I should comment more). I’ve also relinked from mine.
April 13, 2010 at 10:48 am
M Light,
I am so glad you kept on the hunt. I hated knowing I had lost so many Coffee friends when I was evicted, but I’m happy that every day a few Coffee regulars find us.
Thanks for updating the link. Sorry I couldn’t let you and everyone else know-it was sudden.
April 13, 2010 at 12:46 pm
It’s taken a few days, but I’m glad I found you again…
April 13, 2010 at 1:10 pm
Mary,
Every day I am so excited to know Coffee and I are being found. The deletion form Blogger was so abrupt I didn’t have time to let people know. Thanks for looking and finding me! Welcome back to Keep the Coffee Coming!!
April 16, 2010 at 7:00 pm
Kat
Thank goodness you are still here! I went on holiday and came back and you were gone. I don’t know how we would have managed without you.
Keep up the good work
Chris
April 16, 2010 at 7:38 pm
Chris,
Blogger deleted Coffee for music infringement so I had to move to a new neighborhood. I knew my Coffee friends would wonder what in the heck happened as I had no time to tell anyone. I’m so glad you went hunting and found me!
April 18, 2010 at 12:47 pm
Kat –
I’m so glad I finally found you again! My mornings weren’t the same without you.
All the best,
Mike
April 18, 2010 at 1:40 pm
Mike,
I wish I had been given the time to let everyone know Coffee was being evicted, but it happened too quickly. Thank the Lord, all my friends, like you, are trickling back!!
Welcome to Coffee’s new home!!!

April 22, 2010 at 11:32 am
lito,
Every day more and more Coffee friends are making their way here. I wish there had been some way to let people know, but I didn’t have time.
April 23, 2010 at 6:54 am
Kat,
Ive been an admirer of your blog for quite some time and was pretty saddened to not have my daily cup-o-joe for this long (I actually had been worried even though you dont know me, I feel like I know you). Im glad to have googled: “what happened to KTCC”? Great to see your new diggs. And Happy Spring to you from Alaska;)
Ack
April 23, 2010 at 10:07 am
Ack,
I wish I could have given everyone the heads up about Coffee’s possible demise, but I didn’t really think I’d posted any more songs which could get me erased. It was really old stuff no longer available for download so I was surprised when Coffee disappeared.
I am sorry that I worried you and so many other Coffee friends.
I’m so glad you persisted in finding me.
Happy spring to you too. Is it really springtime in Alaska?
April 29, 2010 at 12:09 am
Surprisingly we are getting better weather than some lower 48 states, actually all month. A real abnormal season up here in the Interior. I bet Fairbanks will see record highs again. Its not even May and the squitos are in swarms. Global Warming is alive and well in the arctic!
Keep on keeping the coffee coming, Kat. You rock!!!
April 29, 2010 at 10:34 pm
Ack,
The Coffee will keep on coming!!
We were darn cold today with a wind off the ocean. It will be in the 30’s tonight. By the weekend, it’s supposed to be in the 60’s down here and the high 70’s in Boston. I won’t believe it until I feel the sun.
April 27, 2010 at 1:30 pm
I nearly panicked today when I couldn’t find your blog, a favorite of mine. You see, it’s been a very busy early spring for me and I haven’t been able to keep up on my blog reading. Today, I had a few moments to try a little catch up and Keep the Coffee Coming was on the list, but the link connected to one of my blogs didn’t work. I went to my blogger dashboard and couldn’t access the blog there. I finally went to Google and typed in “What happened to Keep the Coffee Coming” and I found my way here. All I have to say is…WHEW! I’m glad you’re still blogging. Thanks for not giving up when the other guys tried to knock you out of the game.
April 27, 2010 at 8:05 pm
Mike,
You should have seen the horror when, as I was working on it, Coffee disappeared. I kept trying to find it and always got the same message-the blog was gone. My first reaction was to pack it in. That lasted a day. The next morning I moved right over to WordPress and Coffee was up and running a day later.
The old Coffee had so many regulars which seem to have gotten lost in the move. Good thing you persisted!! Welcome back!!!
April 29, 2010 at 7:26 pm
Oh Kat!
There I was, looking for my daily dose of Coffee, and you’d disappeared! I was actually frantic! Finally found you on a Google search, so now my world is in correct alignment again. I look foward to chatting with you soon! Due to present circumstances I do not have a home computer hookup, so I sure hope I can remember your new address as I sit before a public computer 🙂
April 29, 2010 at 10:09 pm
Coleen,
Welcome to the new Coffee!! Good to know my Coffee regulars are finding me. It was a shock when I was evicted, but I got right back up again. Thanks for hunting me down!! Just Google.
July 14, 2011 at 12:48 am
OMG I found your new home I have missed your wonderful music, writings and pictures! Hope all is well Jaci from Imperial MO
July 14, 2011 at 1:17 am
Welcome Back, Jaci!
There I was in the middle of posting and my blog disappeared. I first tried pulling out my hair, but that didn’t work so I had to pull up stakes and move to WordPress. I was able to let some of my blogger friends know so they posted the new address, but I lost a lot of Coffee friends who never found me. I’m glad you did!
There is a lot to catch up on so you might want to go back and read a few of the entries. If there is a song you want, drop me a line, and I’ll send it along.
The only difference here is the link to the download is in the comment for each song.
Welcome-glad to have you back!!!!!!!!!!!!!
