    One of the great folk songs from England. It is about Salford, a city contiguous with Manchester. I worked for the Education Authority in Salford for three years from 1971, and still have happy memories of young people and colleagues from my time there. I saw/heard the Dubliners play this one, in 1966. My wife was born in Salford.
