      One Christmas I gave my sister dinner and an Odetta concert at the MFA in Boston. We were waiting outside for a cab when a guy came up to us and asked if we knew a good restaurant close to the museum. It was James Taylor who had also been to the concert.

        We were both thrilled just to see him for that little time. It is a favorite Christmas memory.

        I hadn’t seen him at the concert. The theater at the MFA is small, intimate, but I wasn’t looking at the audience.
