    I saw her perform live in 1962, in the Musical, “I Can Get it For You Wholesale”. She was 19 years old. Wow, when she sang, she knocked my socks off.

    This was her very first Broadway show. No one knew who she was. My father would come to New York about four times a year to visit my sister and I. He would usually get tickets for a show and we would have an evening out including dinner.

      I do remember she took off right away with that voice of hers.
      That is neat to spend time with your father in such a great way. I remember going to the Roy Roger’s rodeo with my father. That was special.
