Ahh, Little Stevie Marriott. When I was just a slip of an MDH, I started work as a clerk at the Bank of England. A couple of girls on the group had grown up with Marriott and had wonderful tales of accompanying him to RSG and TOTP when he was part of the Small Faces.
Saw him just once with Humble Pie at the Finsbury Park Rainbow, a show being recorded for US TV. Fragments can be seen to this day on you tube
Was he good ? Oh yes and of course in those early albums he had a guy with him called Peter Frampton. He wasn’t going to make it was he ?!
