An Allan Clarke composition that was sorta big over here but not over there. Of course most of the Hollies songs were collaborations with his boyhood friend Graham Nash who wandered off after the band rejected Marrakesh Express.
Nash retaliated by “dating” Joni Mitchell and hence Our House and stuff. Didnt Joni then dump him and take up with our Lenny ? It is complicated.

I do remembered the lyrics to this song so it must have been around for a while.
Big mistake rejecting Marrakech Express.
Hard to keep track of Joni. I know she hooked up with James Taylor for a while. They wrote You Can Close Your Eyes together and are still friends today.
