A very young MDH headed to the Hammersmith Odeon in May 77? To see Nils Lofgren in concert. The support act that night was Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers whose only release was The American Girl album. They played pretty much that whole album, plus listen to her heart and a rambunctious I fought the law and Route 66
Lofgren stood no chance, the Heartbreakers blew him off the stage
