At this point Elvis Costello was almost unstoppable. His .third album Armed Forces, which included Green Shirt, was modified for the USA by adding “Whats so funny bout peace love and understanding”
After one of many evenings with Mr Costello, Mrs MDH and I ended up back stage with him and Emmylou Harris. I can happily report that he was a normal down to earth guy and we spent about 45 minute chatting
Costello has an amazing body of work and this pick today is a sharp reminder of his talents

I have always been a fan, but I do like his earlier music better. This is a favorite.
Why am I not surprised you chatted with Elvis Costello?
