”There’s no ego when you’re a ukulele player.”

Good morning! Today I have an early uke concert which doesn’t give me time to post my usual musings. It is a concert of Beach Boys’ music so I’ve got my Hawaiian shirt all ready and my uke tuned.

Today will be hot, the high being forecasted to be 85°. My air conditioning, blasting since yesterday has wonderfully cooled the house. The dogs are comfortable and having their morning naps. Henry is on my bed while Nala is on the couch. I should live their lives. My father always said he wanted to come back as a pet in any of our houses.

Yesterday I added flowers to the deck boxes which had been decimated by the spawns. I also watered all the plants. Later, when it is cooler, I need to fill a couple of bird feeders, getting close to empty because the deck has been abuzz with bird activity.

Well, I need to get ready. I’ll be back tomorrow.

    Hi Kat,

There’s nothing like The Beach Boys music.

Today is another hazy, clear, hot day. The high is predicted to hit 103° that’s only 39.44° Celsius. Sounds cooler, no? 🙂

      Hi Bob,
We had fun playing The Beach Boys today. Next week it is cowboy music.

Today was downright ugly here, hot and humid. Getting from the car to any building made me gasp in the heat. Tomorrow will be the same.

      Yup, Celsius sounds downright cooler.

Wow! Cowboy music. Will it be country and western songs?

Just watched your Red Sox beat the Rangers 10 to 6.

There are some great songs: here are a few:
Spurs That Jingle Jangle Jingle. Ghost Riders in the Sky
Back in the Saddle Again. Johnny Cash Medley. We end the book with Happy Trails.

There are more as well. There are 15 songs in all.
