In a period when there was a certain strangeness to shows I was attending I was hitting Nils Lofgren solo performances where he would somersault off a trampoline while playing guitar.
Well in 77 down the Hammersmith Odeon he had a support act that had only just released their first album. That band was Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers and they blew Lofgren off the stage.

The number of shows you have seen still astonishes me. Not only that, but you are quite perceptive in seeing the shows highlighting or not yet highlighting singers/bands/groups which are relatively unknown but would soon be well known!
