The guys are in suits and the gals know not to show too much, just love these audiences especially as Chuck is going batshit
In the early 70s I worked for the Bank of England in the Exchange Control department which regulated the movement of currency in and out of the UK. We had to approve payment for a Chuck Berry tour as he insisted on payment in cash. There was one fee for the show and an additional payment for an encore

For the same reasons, I like to watch American Bandstand videos. The girls are in sort of fancy dresses and the boys in suits. Such clean cut American youth!
Chuck Berry is quirky in insisting on cash. I have never heard of that before- two fees for one show.
