    Great and interesting pick Kat. I always felt that “Hurricane” and “Isis” overwhelmed every other track on the “Desire” album. I have often wondered if Emmylou Harris recorded her backing vocals with or without Dylan in the studio ?
    Additionally if you ignore the basement tapes Desire followed right after the pinnacle of Blood on the Tracks

    Meanwhile Ol’ Bob is offering a 4 CD boxset expanding the Budokan shows for a sprightly $160. That will be on hold for a major price dive.

    Alsmot time to get out the Bob and Christmas CD

      I find this a strange Dylan. He has his early Dylan, his transition Dylan and his late Dylan. I’m not sure where I’d put this. His voice seems to have a different sound, almost a tremolo. Emmylou sounds more like an aftereffect.

      $160 is a yikes amount!
