I have never seen either drum or buffalo fish. We used to catch perch in a pond near my house. I was surprised I liked catfish. The best trout I ever had was mountain trout in a restaurant in the Sierra Nevada Mountains of Venezuela. It was a lunch stop for the bus I was on. The other passengers recommended the trout.
