    Thanks for Judy!
Some time ago I wrote about an upcoming Collins concert. Unfortunately all concerts in this part of Europe were postponed indefinitely or canceled. She’s still touring but I think it’s unlikely that I’ll be able to see her again. Well, at least I saw her once and this concert was special.

Hi Birgit! Just a heads-up in case you haven’t heard Judy’s latest album, “Spellbound,” which she released this year. Don’t know what access to YouTube you have over there, but I recommend you investigate because the entire album can be played here and it’s worth checking out. I have nothing but high praise for it, especially the title cut. If I’m not mistaken, I believe I read where this is the first album she’s ever done where she wrote all the songs. She should have been writing more all along. Good luck and enjoy the holidays season!

Thanks, im6! I found a working album link and I just enjoy the first songs and already love it. Her voice is still great. Will listen until I fall asleep, it past 1 am 🙂 Happy Christmastime for you too!

You are very welcome. Posting Judy is always a bit self-serving for me.

I saw her twice. The first time was before I left for Ghana, and the second time was just before her album with Black Bird. Both concerts were amazing.

You’re so computer/internet savvy it doesn’t surprise me that you found a working link. And, yes, she’s in great, great voice. Who says 83 is old? 🙂 !

im6, fortunately YouTube isn’t such a big problem anymore as it once was.
When you look at her impressive amount of tour dates you must think she’s just 23. I was worried when I saw that her concerts were canceled but according to her twitter account she was okay, probably just financial reasons, many musicians have problems to sell tickets by now.
Still awake listening to Spellbound …

In 1975, Dutch TV got four guitarists together for a session. Bert Jansch was one of them, and one of the songs he played was… In the Bleak Midwinter.
