This is the famous, Coney Island Parachute Jump ride. It made it’s debut at the 1939 New York World’s Fair. Afternthe fairmclosed it was moved to Coney Island.

Thanks for letting me know. I guessed the type of ride but had no idea where it was. I didn’t know about the World’s Fair.

I thought it a perfect depiction of tourists which is what I looked to find.
