Wow, a Northeast Airlines DC-4. Northeast Airlines was a regional airline based in the New England area. In the 1950s they were awarded routes from Boston and New York to Florida to give them routes that could be profitable in the winter. They were merged into Delta.

This is a picture of Logan Airport.
I have flown Northeast more than a few times out of Boston. One of my friends was a Northeast stewardess for many years.
Thanks for the article. The picture of the sort of warehouse from the article I remember seeing either that one or one just like it outside the airport on the road to Logan.
