Sadly, many neighborhood Chinese restaurants are closing because their owners can’t find anyone to run them. Their American born children have graduated from college and have no interest in going into the family restaurant business.

That is exactly what happened to the China Moon, the restaurant in the town where I grew up. It was the place to go before semi-formal dances and proms. We all just called it The Moon. It was closed and sold because, as you said, none of the next generation wanted to run it.
