At weddings I attended when the aunts were still with us, they all rushed from the tables to dance to this song. I watched in amusement.

    Oh yes, do I remember this ditty. When my daughter was young, there was a character puppeteer called, “Mr. Chicken” or something similar. He would perform at parties and play that tune as he danced around dressed in a chicken outfit. He was a big hit among the preschoolers. 🙂

      I know the song well, but I never knew who played it until I found it this morning. My sister reminded me my father loved to dance this. He laughed the whole dance.

      That’s quite the side job, being a chicken.
