Lagniappe: Mitch & Mickey – A Kiss At The End Of The Rainbow

If you haven’t ever watched A Mighty Wind from which the clip comes, get a copy as quickly as you can, prepare the snacks and don’t forget the popcorn. Every movie needs popcorn.

Even if you don’t like folk music, HORRORS!!, the music in this movie is worth the listen. It is a Christopher Guest movie through and through. I’m thinking watching this clip should get you want want to know more. Why is this song so poignant? Is there a backstory? Hmmmm.

I understand your enthusiasm for “A Mighty Wind,” but I personally think it pales in comparison to his earlier films, “Waiting For Guffman” and “Best In Show.” So I offer those as fun recommendations for your readers’ movie night(s), I suspect people either ARE or AREN’T Christoper Guest fans. Only one way to find out.

I think Best in Show is my favorite Christopher Guest movie, but I do love the music in this one. It also makes me laugh.

Yup, you are or you ain’t!
