It is probably all relative. This should have been considered quite the kitchen in its day. Maybe in 50 years or so they’ll think out kitchens quite primitive.

Except for the Microwave oven, everything else in our current kitchen is the same technology as it was in 1960. Maybe more energy efficient, but the same technology.

The Cuisinart food processor is a supreme mixer so far ahead of the Sunbeam my mother had which just mixed. I have a convection oven, a crock pot and an Instant Pot. Each makes cooking quicker and easier. There is probably more but this is all I come up with quickly.
