Thanks for the memories. Another one of my favorite novelty songs from my childhood. My mother had a 1959 American Motors Rambler station wagon. Nash was long time by then.
The 1959 Rambler was a small car by comparison to the big three behemoth cars. It had reclining front bench seats, lapbelt seatbelts, an economical straight six engine and a push button automatic transmission. For its day it was a nice car.

I always loved the beep beep. The song perfectly fit a Nash Rambler. I don’t know anyone who owned even a Rambler.

That is a great story. I’m not so enthused about the color of the car, but I do recognize the make and model.
