Okay, this is a bit of a stretch. I didn’t find another cookie song I wanted to post, but I found The Cookies who later became The Raelettes.

    Could only find one other “cookie” song (you’d think there would be several of them). This one is ‘Mrs. Toad’s Cookies’ by the mysterious Canadian band, Klaatu (NOT The Beatles, as they were rumored to be back in 1976). They’re most famous for the original version of “Calling Occupants Of Interplanetary Craft.” Mrs. Toad bakes a jaunty little song.

      I have heard of this band before because its name stuck in my head. “Klaatu barada nikto,” is not something easily forgotten. I must know them from their “Calling Occupants Of Interplanetary Craft.”

    Wonderful name. 🙂 Of course they’re singing about a different kind of will power than the strength to resist Oreos, but that’s within orbit of the theme too. Nice record, nice arrangement of voices.
