    i did not buy the Joni Archives Volume 1, primarily because it is the early years of the folk stuff that is all a bit too earnest for me.

    Having said that, I am waiting anxiously for what is offered in the Court and Spark, Hissing, Hejira, Don Juan period. Of course I have no clue when Archives 2 might roll but in time for Christmas might not be an unreasonable guess.. I have to assume the second series runs up to Ladies of the Canyon and possibly, Blue.

      I have that Volume 1, and I really like it. That was the Joni I first loved and bought most of those albums. Her Clouds album was with in in Ghana. I never tired of listening. I will probably buy the second volume, only having a half set annoys my sensibiities.
